Gold Ticking Time Ring by AtticRaiders Gold Ticking Time Ring by AtticRaiders
As I completed the repair and cleaning of this movement, I could feel myself getting excited about the anticipated ring collection I have planned for christmas 2011. This ring is one of them and features not only a vintage movement, cleaned and repaired but anouther treat too..

Completed with a gold tone pewter cast band, size 9.5, this ring is repaired and able to still tick after being wound up 20 times. The best part is I was able to keep the watch face and hands so underneath the ring it still tells time.

The inspiration behind this piece was an old black n white picture of a few men sitting around a wooden table at a local pub with a snake likesmokey haze lingering above their heads. I liked the curve of the smoke and the mobster feel of the picture so I decided to take that appeal and harness it in a unisex jewelry piece somehow without insulting the mob, of course. The mobster love came out in this original ring design complete with a vintge watch movement and the original watch case it came with when I procured the busted watch from a local thrift store.

The rings hefty look packs some statement punch and backs up the promised appeal of old school gents smokin' in the bar...

Like the wind up idea, email me with a request for your own custom piece. my email is : masqueray[at]hotmail[dot]com or visit my online Etsy shop AtticRaiders [link] and see if the piece is available for purchase.

My work is showcased and also for sale at Supply Sergeant in West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton AB Canada
